Micro six lobe countersunk machine screws are also commonly known as Torx®, star drive or 6-lobe drive.  The six lobe drive was developed by Camcar to reduce cam out, which was achieved superbly enabling the six love drive to achieve much higher toque limits than the predeceasing Phillips or slotted drive, which were designed to cam out to avoid over tightening.

The six lobe drive makes it the ideal fastener when higher torque is required and speed of use is required i.e. using drills or power screwdrivers

Micro six lobe countersunk machine screws range from M1.6 to M3 but larger diameters are also available from stock in various materials.

Micro six lobe (Torx®) countersunk machine screws are available from stock in mild steel grade 4.6 and A2 stainless steel.  Other materials are available upon request including A4 stainless steel, brass, aluminium and titanium.
