Micro socket set screws (flat point) to Din 913 have a hexagonal recess and is driven using a hex wrench or insert bit.  This makes these screws much more efficient than the slotted screw products as the hex socket drive has more resistance to cam out and can be used with power drivers enabling faster use and higher torque to be achieved.

Set screws are used in applications to secure objects together, within or against another object.  Micro socket set screws (flat point) to Din 913 are 'headless', meaning that there is no head projecting past the major diameter, making this a fully threaded fastener.  The socket drive of the set screw is turned until it meets the inner object, then exerting a pressure on the inner object creating a clamping force.

Micro diameter socket set screws (flat point) to Din 913 are also commonly known as socket grubscrews and are available in size from M1.4 to M3 in hardened steel 45H and stainless steel.

Micro socket set screws (flat point) to Din 913 are available from stock in steel 45H, A2 stainless steel and A4 stainless steel.  Other materials are available upon request including brass, aluminium and titanium.

Micro socket set screws (flat point) to Din 914 range from M1.4 to M3 but larger diameters are also available from stock in various materials.
