Micro internal lock washers to Din 6798J are serrated locking washers also known as toothed lock washers.  These washers have teeth / serrations on the inner face of the washer that bite into the surface it is used on,  although does not provide as much holding power as the similar external locking washer.

Internal lock washer (Din 6798J) are most effective when used on softer materials such as aluminium or plastic.

Micro serrated internal locking washers are stocked in A2 stainless steel and spring steel with some sizes also available in A4 stainless steel.
