Taper pins are most commonly made from mild steel, but can also be manufactured in A2 and A4 stainless steel. They are available in a wide range of DIN standards, so you should read carefully to ensure you receive the right product.
DIN 1A and 1B are relatively similar other than their finish, as 1A taper pins host a ground surface and 1B has a more turned finish.
DIN 7977 taper pins are threaded with a male thread for extraction purposes. Din 7978 taper pins have a female thread for extraction.
