Brass Hexagon Female to Female Spacers, often referred to as Female Threaded Spacers or Threaded Hexagon Standoffs, are less common than round spacers and feature a hexagonal shaped body with internal thread.
The thread can be part threaded or fully threaded depending on the size and length of the standoff. This enables two threaded components to be fastened into either end, creating a gap in between to provide additional clearance.
Offering electrical conductivity with non-magnetic properties, these spacers are often utilised within electronic applications e.g. PCB assemblies for increased airflow between parts to prevent overheating.
Brass Hex Female to Female Spacers or Standoffs are often manufactured with a Nickel Plated finish – offering a decorative silver appearance with good corrosion resistance. They host anti-rust and water resistant properties, making them ideal for external applications.
Available in thread sizes M2 to M6 as standard, with a variety of lengths ranging from 5mm to 80mm – minimum order quantities apply.
