What are ultra low profile head screws?

Ultra low profile head screws (sometimes referred to as micro profile, slim head or space-saving bolts) are engineered for use where clearance is tight and a traditional screw head would protrude too far.

Their compact design makes them ideal for electronics, precision assemblies, and applications with restricted space. The head height is typically around half – or even one-third – of a standard socket cap screw, providing a streamlined finish without compromising alignment or performance in low-load applications.

While low profile screws are not intended for high-strength fastening, they are perfect for installations requiring a neat appearance and efficient use of space.
