Expansion Anchor Bolts

Our security anchor bolts are designed for demanding construction, installation and maintenance environments where a secure, tamper-resistant fixing is essential. Often referred to as expansion anchors or expansion anchor bolts, these fasteners are used in predrilled holes in concrete, brick or other solid materials to fix an application to a surface that has no internal thread.

Once installed, tightening the head of the anchor forces the sleeve to expand outward, gripping the walls of the drilled hole. This creates a strong hold that resists high torque and prevents the anchor from being pulled out, making it suitable for both moderate and high security applications.

Most security anchor bolts require a specialist security driver for installation, helping to maintain a tamper-resistant fixing. We also supply a drill-out anchor that can be installed using a standard hex drive for applications where specialist tooling is not required. Both permanent and removable options are available, depending on whether future maintenance access is needed by authorised personnel.
