High Corrosion Resistant Washers with Outside Diameter are flat and thin circular parts that host a central hole and host an outside diameter three times the size of the nominal thread diameter of the bolt that is being used alongside it. For example, using a bolt with a nominal size of 3mm would mean using a washer with an outside diameter of 9mm.
They are generally used around a bolt or a screw between the bearing surface of the fastener and the part to which it is attached, to improve stress distribution.
Duplex Stainless Steel Washers with Outside Diameter host a minimum hardness value (HV) of 100 and are incredibly stable due to a high level of chromium. They hold a strength that is comparable to that of higher-strength structural steels and find themselves across a range of applications including cooling towers, within the petroleum and gas industry and more due to their corrosion resistance.
A5 Steel Washers with Outside Diameter are relatively resistant to corrosion due to the fact that they host titanium as part of their alloy. They can often be found in applications that are exposed to chlorides and sulfur dioxide due to their high resistance of corrosion.
1.4529 HCR (Grade A8) Steel Washers have an increased molybdenum content which improves their corrosion resistance, resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. They can often be found within salt production, oil systems and more.
