FasPLas thread forming screw for plastic, with 30° thread flank angle and countersunk Philips head, for installation into pre-drilled or moulded holes.
- Range of diameters and thread lengths
- Phillips drive
- Manufactured in zinc or black plated steel. Also available in stainless steel
- Reduced installation torque, less risk of over tightening and reduced radial stress on the plastic
The flank angle results in lower radial expansion than with conventional screws. Designed to allow the maximum amount of plastic to be engaged, providing higher sheer loads and resistance to pullout, due to the increased bearing depth of the thread. This, with the ease of penetration through the material, encourages plastic flow, reduces the torque required to drive the screw in and reduces the potential for thread stripping during installation.
All stocked sizes are listed below. FasPlas 30° Countersunk screws are available to order in non-standard sizes and finishes, including small volume manufacture, modifications and custom parts to drawings.
