Plastic Wing Nuts American Form

American Form Plastic Wing Nuts host a small circular body and two elongated ears or ‘wings’, allowing for easy installation and removal by hand with no special tools required.

Sometimes referred to as Butterfly Nuts or Wingnuts, they are for use in low torque applications – ideal where frequent maintenance may be required.

The wings on these American Type Butterfly Nuts host a smaller and more squared design compared to the German Form Wing Nuts to DIN 315.

To create a fastener that is easily adjustable from both sides, they can be coupled with Wing Screws, as well as any matching bolt, screw or washer.

Used across a range of applications e.g. as part of office furniture or within plumbing to join or separate plastic pipes.

Manufactured from Nylon 66 (PA 66) as standard, hosting good shock and vibration resistance for increased retention.

Supplied in a White (natural) finish as standard – these Wing Screws can be dyed to colour match any application or assembly, depending on your requirements.

Plastic Wing Nuts American Form are available in thread sizes from M4 to M12 as standard, with others sizes available to order. Minimum order quantities apply.

Non-standard sizes, colours and materials are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and custom parts made to drawings.Plastic Wing Nuts American Form Technical Drawing
