Brass Fasteners

Brass fasteners are manufactured from an alloy of copper and zinc, offering a strong combination of anti-rust performance, non-magnetic properties and reliable corrosion resistance. They are widely used in applications where durability, conductivity and appearance are just as important as mechanical performance.

We supply brass components in two common alloy types, each offering distinct advantages:

• Brass Cu2 (CuZn37 / CZ108) – This is a widely used yellow brass composed of around 37% zinc. It provides good strength, excellent cold working properties, and strong resistance to water and general corrosion.
• Brass Cu3 (CuZn39Pb3 / CZ122) – With approximately 39% zinc and 3% lead, this grade offers excellent machinability, along with increased strength and corrosion resistance compared to standard brass.

We also manufacture bespoke brass fasteners in non-standard sizes and specialist material grades. Minimum order quantities apply.
