Brass Flat Washers (DIN 125 Form B)

These Brass Form B Flat Washers, in accordance with DIN 125 standard or ISO 7090, are primarily used to increase the bearing surface of a fastener head or nut to allow even distribution of clamping forces over a larger surface area.

Commonly referred to as Brass Plain Washers, they are thinner than standard Brass Form A Flat Washers but feature the same diameter and flat ring-shaped design.

Their use offers additional benefits including prevention of the target material becoming deformed or damaged, as well as providing additional thickness for fasteners that are too long for the chosen application.

They increase the longevity of surrounding parts by reducing friction – widely utilised across a range of sectors that require a strong and versatile washer.

Brass components do not rust and are well known for their non-magnetic and corrosion resistant properties – ideal for electrical assemblies and outdoor use. These washers are also suitable for use in medical environments as they host anti-bacterial properties.

Brass Flat Washers to DIN 125 Form B can be manufactured in various materials including Stainless Steel, Aluminium and Titanium – with other specialist materials available to order.

Available at Fastenright for thread sizes from M3 (3.2mm) to M39 (40mm) as standard. Minimum order quantities apply.

Non-standard sizes, materials and finishes are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and custom parts made to drawings.Brass Flat Washers (DIN 125 Form B) Technical Drawing
