Brass Dome Nuts
Brass hexagon domed cap nuts, also known as brass low type acorn nuts or brass crowned hex nuts, are designed to cover and protect the exposed end of a fastener. The domed acorn-shaped head conceals the thread while enhancing both safety and appearance.
Brass dome nuts protect threads from contact with external elements, prevent snagging and injury by covering sharp or uneven threads and provide a decorative gold-coloured appearance due to the natural finish of brass. Their rounded profile makes them suitable for applications where both presentation and protection matter.
Our brass dome nuts are available in thread sizes M3 to M24, with M12 and above featuring a thread undercut (g2) to provide additional thread relief.
While this range of brass fasteners is supplied in brass as standard, domed cap nuts can also be manufactured in steel, stainless steel, nylon, aluminium or titanium. Non-standard sizes, finishes and bespoke parts can be produced to drawing. Minimum order quantities apply.
