Flat Knurled Thumb Nuts, in accordance with DIN 467, host a wide cylindrical head and a low-profile design – ideal for applications with limited clearance or insufficient space for additional tools.
Otherwise known as Low Type or Thin Type Knurled Thumb Nuts, these components are designed to be installed and removed by hand. The large external diameter and knurled outer edge provides increased grip – a great choice for applications that require frequent maintenance.
Flat Knurled Thumb Nuts are suitable for use with any machine threaded fastener. If you require a symmetrical fastening that is easily adjustable from both ends, they should be used alongside Knurled Shouldered Thumb Screws or Flat Knurled Thumb Screws.
