High Corrosion Resistant Hex Head Screws are known for their strength, as well as their large bearing surface area. This surface area provides improved clamping pressure compared to the likes of the socket head cap screws, making these fasteners ideal for applications involving dirt or debris build-up. This becomes less of an issue as particles are unable to clog a socket.

1.4529 HCR Grade A8 Steel Hex Head Screws have an increased resistance to stress corrosion cracking and excellent corrosion resistance and can often be found in offshore technology and pipeline systems as well as many other areas.

A5 Steel Hex Head Screws are ideal in heavier applications due to their good wear resistance, fatigue life and more. They can be found in various industries including construction, chemical processing, food and automotive.
Available as standard in lengths ranging from 10mm up, and diameters from M5 to M24 – with specials available to order.
Specials can include hex head screws in Super Duplex Stainless Steel which are known for their excellent levels of corrosion resistance – meaning they are less likely to be affected by applications in unfavourable elements.
Non-standard sizes, materials and finishes are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and bespoke parts made to drawings. Minimum order quantities apply.
