Pan Head O-Ring Seal Screws have been specifically designed and developed to prevent contaminants such as air, water and dirt from entering or leaving an application. This is achieved by the use of a strong and sturdy “O” ring – typically made of Silicone rubber.
The O-ring is positioned within a groove on the underside of the pan head to provide 360° sealing performance, whilst maintaining the metal on metal contact required for a secure fixing.
These components offer a cost-effective sealing solution that is often desired in military applications, or those with strict sealing requirements. They can also be found within food processing applications, electronic devices and medical equipment.
The O-ring can be supplied in a huge range of materials, making them suitable for use in some of the most challenging conditions and environments. Common materials for O-rings include Nitrile rubber (Buna-N), EPDM, Viton, Fluorosilicone, and many more.

- Slotted Pan Head O-Ring Seal Screws typically conform to DIN 85 / DIN 920 / DIN 921 / ISO 1580 / ASME B18.6.3
- 6 Lobe Torx (TX) Pan Head O-Ring Seal Screws typically conform to DIN 7985 / ISO 14583 / ASME B18.6.3
Optional thread locking patches are also available on request – providing additional resistance to vibration and helping to preserve the lifespan of the O-ring.
