Plastic Flat Washers (DIN 125 Form A)

Plastic Flat Washers, in accordance with DIN 125 Form A standard, are often referred to as Plain Washers that conform to ISO 7089. Their primary purpose is to distribute loads evenly across a threaded fastener – beneficial when working with softer materials.

They can be utilised as spacers or insulators, whilst being suitable for use between moving parts or as cushioning washers due to their anti-vibration properties. Plastic Flat Washers to DIN 125 Form C / BS 4320 are also available at Fastenright.

Compatible with a wide range of screws, these Plastic Flat Washers to DIN 125 Form A are perfect for almost any assembly – typically found within sectors including engineering and construction.

Often used within domestic electrical appliances such as washing machines or applications where electrical insulation and corrosion resistance is important.

Manufactured from Nylon 66 (PA 66) as standard – a weather resistant material that provides good strength and durability.

Available in other materials including Nylon 30% Glass Filled and Polycarbonate, with Fibre and Rubber Plain Washers also available for sealing purposes.

For thread sizes M1.6 (1.7mm) to M40 (41mm) as standard. The Nylon Flat Washers are supplied in a White (natural) colour, with other colours available on request. Minimum order quantities apply.

Non-standard sizes, materials and colours are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and custom parts made to drawings.
