Plastic Hexagon Flange Nuts (DIN 6923)

Plastic Hexagon Flange Nuts, in accordance with DIN 6923 standard or ISO 4161, are often referred to as Hex Flange Nuts. Designed with an integrated, non-spinning flange washer at the base of the nut to provide a larger surface area – reducing pressure and increasing resistance to shocks and vibrations.

The larger outer diameter of these Plastic Hexagon Flange Nuts can help to cover up imperfections in the target material e.g. tooling holes, while being ideal for use with uneven surfaces or irregular shaped holes.

They host a chamfered design on the top of the nut, reducing the chance of snagging once installed. Plastic Hexagon Full Nuts to DIN 934 are also available at Fastenright.

Manufactured from Nylon 66 (PA 66) as standard – a strong and lightweight material that hosts good mechanical strength and chemical resistance. Other types of plastic are available to order on request.

Available now at Fastenright in thread sizes from M3 to M10 as standard, with other sizes available to order. Minimum order quantities will apply.

Supplied in a White (natural) colour way as standard – we can dye these DIN 6923 Nylon Hex Flange Nuts in a range of colours to suit your chosen application or assembly.

Non-standard sizes, materials and colours are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and custom parts made to drawings.

Note: Any dimensions provided should only be used as guidance as they may not follow the strict tolerances relevant to metal parts.
