Plastic Phillips Pan Head Screws (DIN 7985)

Plastic Phillips Pan Head Screws, in accordance with DIN 7985 standard or ISO 7045, host a Phillips drive specifically designed to prevent over-tightening and damage to the fastener by allowing the driver to slip out when reaching maximum torque.

The Pan Head features a slightly domed profile to provide an aesthetically pleasing finish, while the smooth edges make it difficult to snag once installed.

Typically found in many industrial and electronic applications e.g. heavy machinery and home appliances such as washing machines. This is due to their non-conductive, non-magnetic and non-corrosive properties.

Note: The dimensions of these Plastic Phillips Pan Screws to DIN 7985 should only be used as guidance. They are considered equivalent to the normal standard but may not follow the strict tolerances relevant to metal parts.

Manufactured from Nylon 66 (PA 66) as standard – a strong, sturdy and lightweight material that helps to absorb shocks and vibrations.

Available in thread sizes from M2 to M10 and lengths ranging from 3mm to 75mm as standard. Minimum order quantities apply.

Supplied in a White (natural) colour as standard, with other dyed colours available on request. We also supply a wide range of Plastic & Nylon Screws suitable for most applications or assemblies.

Non-standard sizes, materials and colours are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and custom parts made to drawings.
