Plastic Pozi Raised Countersunk Screws (DIN 966)

Plastic Pozi Raised Countersunk Screws, in accordance with DIN 966 or ISO 7047, are ideal for applications that require multiple components joining together. For installation, they require a pre-drilled or tapped hole and can be partnered with a matching nut to create a complete fastener.

Although created to DIN 966 standard, the dimensions should only be used as guidance. They are considered DIN equivalent but may not follow the strict tolerances relevant to metal parts.

Hosting four lines in-between each corner of the cross, the Pozi drive is an improved version of the standard Phillips drive, driven using a Pozi screwdriver or insert bit. It provides more resistance to cam-out and a larger surface area contact with the surface drive, designed to allow for increased torque and greater drive engagement.

Typically found in a wide range of manufacturing and electronic applications e.g. machinery and electrical appliances. This is due to their increased resistance to chemicals and higher melting point.

Manufactured from Nylon 66 (PA 66) as standard – a versatile material that is both sturdy and lightweight. Other materials are available to order.

Available at Fastenright in thread sizes from M2.5 to M10 and lengths from 4mm to 50mm as standard. Non-raised Plastic Pozi Countersunk Screws to DIN 965 are also available.

Supplied in White (natural) as standard. These screws can by dyed in a huge range of colours to best suit the chosen application or assembly.

Non-standard sizes, colours and materials are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and custom parts made to drawings.
