Pozi Cheese Thread Rolling Screws (DIN 7500)

Pozi Cheese Thread Rolling Screws, typically to DIN 7500 standard, host a ‘Cross Recess’ drive for improved drive engagement and higher achievable torque.

Requiring Pozi insert bits for installation and removal, these thread rolling screws can be driven into a pilot hole without the need for thread tapping. An extruded hole may provide extra length and allow for improved retention.

They feature a three-lobe or trilobular thread design, which when inserted into the fastening material, forms its own threads. This pushes excess material into the relief areas of the screw for increased retention and vibration resistance.

Pozi Cheese Thread Rolling Screws are designed for use with sheet metals, but can be suitable for use with other malleable materials. They also help to avoid loose chips that are caused by other thread cutting processes.

The height of the rounded cheese head is usually around half of its diameter, allowing for a deep recess with its larger size.

Manufactured from Steel Zinc Plated as standard. Available at Fastenright in thread sizes M2.5 to M6, with lengths up to 30mm.
