U Bolt – Extended

Extended U Bolts are referred to by a number of names; including Long U Bolts, Extra Long U Bolts, Long Tangent U Bolts and Extended Leg U Bolts and host longer legs – otherwise referred to as tangents – and more thread than a standard U Bolt.

The long legs on the Extended U Bolts are perfect for mounting to thick flanges.

These Long U Bolts are very similar to the standard U Bolt, but their longer ‘legs’ support pipe work such as gas, water, or air conditioning piping that often requires more clearance than a standard bolt would provide.

Predominantly manufactured from mild or Stainless Steel, the Extended U Bolt is essentially a single piece of material that is threaded either side and bent into the shape of the letter U.

Extended pattern U Bolts are available as standard in mild Steel Zinc Plate and A2 and A4 Stainless Steel.

Available at Fastenright in thread sizes M6 to M16.
