A Security Wave Bolt is a tamper proof bolt, ideal for the highest security applications.
These tamper proof bolts can be either supplied with either a two way reusable or one way permanent security drive. The unique rounded design incorporates varying angles and radiuses to resist against grips such as pliers – making it ideal for applications where the highest level of security is essential.
They are the perfect match with security wave nuts, and are also suitable for use with shear nuts, Kinmar reusable nuts, Kinmar permanent nuts and 4-hole nuts or Pin Torx Barrel Nuts.
Security wave bolts require a special driver tool which is able to be stamped and registered with a customer-specific reference number – allowing the tool to be tracked and personnel that have used it traced if they are registered against the tool. Distribution of the tool is restricted, meaning that only manufacturers and installers who have purchased the screws can purchase additional tools. Under no circumstances will the tools be sold to ‘non-account’ customers.
The bolts are available to order in thread sizes from M2 to M48, with imperial threads also available upon request. Special or custom fasteners are available to order.
Available as standard in A1 stainless and A4 stainless steel.
