Kitting and Packaging Services

Here at Fastenright, we are able to supply our large range of fasteners in sealed packs, often packaging screws or bolts alongside similar or complimenting fasteners like nuts, washers or plugs.

These kitting packaging services for packaging fasteners are often referred to as bolts & nuts kits, packaged nuts and bolts, screw bolt kits and nuts and bolts packs.

Packaged fasteners and screw packs are ideal for the furniture trade, e.g to create fastener kitting or fixing kits for pre-packed and self-assembly furniture kits, and in other industries where bolt & nut kits are supplied to enable product assembly by the customer.

Grip Sealed Nails

Large volumes can be accommodated, with our stock holding and call off service also available to account customers. Using this service can ensure stock is always available for call off on a next day delivery, whenever it is required.

We specialise in the supply of screw packs or screw/bolt kits, and can supply anything from our range in packs of varying quantities and sizes. We are also happy to pack from free issue if required. We offer a variety of screw packaging or fastener packaging services to suit your requirements including heat sealed, grip sealed and zip sealed packs:

Heat Sealed Fastener Packs

At Fastenright we are able to kit multiple items into heat-sealed plastic bags, labelled to your exact design specifications.

Furthermore, we often provide items from our own stock, but if this is not the case we can order your required fasteners and seal them.

Heat sealing is the process of sealing two pieces of thermoplastic using both heat and pressure. There are a number of different types of heat sealing available, all of which have their own benefits.

Quality heat seal packets require the right time, temperature and pressure, and the efficiency of the seal is usually governed by specifications and regulations.

Grip Sealed Fastener Packs

Grip seal bags are a popular form of re-usable, self-sealing bags. They are ideal for when the contents i.e. packaged nuts/bolts need to be secure and contamination should be avoided.

They host a simple plastic ridge that clicks shut and pulls open for continual use.

There’s a number of different varieties of gip seal bags, including:

  • Biodegradable Grip Seal Bags, which are an environmentally friendly alternative which will degrade once their shelf life has passed.
  • Write-on-Panel Grip Seal Bags, which host 3 matte white write-on-panels, so that contents can be labelled.
  • Heavy Duty Grip Seal Bags, which are thicker for when extra bag strength is required.

Zip Sealed Fastener Packs

Zip seal bags are transparent polyethylene (or similar plastic) bags which are re-usable and can be sealed and opened over numerous times.

The type of zip used can vary, but the general principle remains the same – that the zip pulls together two strips of polythene to close the bag.

This is perfect for smaller fasteners, providing space within the bag but ensuring that the seal on the bag is not easy to break.
