Tungsten Screws, Fasteners and Fixings

Tungsten is used within a number of industries, including the aerospace industry, heat treating, oil and gas, and even the medical industry. Its high density and mechanical strength is a huge benefit in all of the above industries.

Tungsten Set Screws

Its extremely high density means fasteners are often used in the balancing of rotating parts such as propellers.

Tungsten fasteners have a high mass due to the base metal, which allows them to block radiation and show up well on x-rays.

The metal is very corrosion resistant and has a very high melting point of 3420 degrees centigrade – making it the perfect fixing for some of the hottest vacuum furnace environments.

If you require more information or would like to order a product in Tungsten, please contact an experienced member of our sales team by phone call or our enquiry form.
