Brass Flat Washers (DIN 433)

Brass Flat Washers, sometimes referred to as Brass Plain Washers or Reduced Diameter Washers, are manufactured to DIN 433 standard / ISO 7092 – hosting a smooth, circular design to reduce friction between the fastening component and installation surface.

Typically used in conjunction with cheese head screws, their primary purpose is to improve the load-bearing potential of a fastener by allowing clamping forces to be distributed over a larger area. This protects the target material from damage whilst increasing the lifespan of components.

They feature an outer diameter that is smaller in relation to the inner diameter when compared to other Flat Washers, such as those to DIN 125. We supply various Brass Washers here at Fastenright to suit a range of applications.

Manufactured from Brass as standard, these Flat Washers to DIN 433 are strong and provide good corrosion resistance for use in most outdoor environments. Brass Nickel Plated is also available – this has a silver finish and increases resistance to wear and corrosion.

With low electrical conductivity and non-magnetic properties, they are an ideal choice for electrical assemblies or where a decorative finish is preferred due to their aesthetic gold appearance.

Available now for thread sizes from M2 (2.2mm) to M20 (21mm) as standard – minimum order quantities apply.

Other materials are also available to order including A2 Stainless Steel, A4 Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Titanium. Phosphor Bronze and Nylon.

Non-standard sizes, materials and finishes are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and custom parts made to drawings.
