Socket Cap Barrel Nuts provide excellent strength and versatility for clamping materials in a wide range of commercial and industrial applications.
These internally threaded fasteners host a hexagonal socket recess which enables installation with a standard hex wrench or insert bit. It reduces the chance of cam-out and offers higher achievable torque compared to other traditional drive types.
The cylindrical head is ideal for use in confined spaces unlike externally driven barrel nuts, and they can be installed into a counterbore to provide an unobtrusive, modern appearance.
Socket Cap Barrel Nuts are manufactured from 303 / A1 Stainless Steel and 316 / A4 Stainless Steel, with other materials and finishes available to order.
Available at Fastenright in thread sizes M2 to M5 as standard. Mating Socket Cap Screws can also be supplied.
Non-standard sizes, materials and finishes are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and bespoke parts made to drawings. Minimum order quantities apply.
