Trapezoidal Threaded Bar

Manufactured in accordance with DIN 103 and ISO 2901/2903, trapezoidal threaded rods feature a trapezium-shaped thread profile designed to efficiently convert rotary motion into linear motion. With a 30° thread angle, they differ slightly from ACME threaded rods (29°), while offering the same high performance and load-bearing capability.

Trapezoidal threaded bars deliver high accuracy, strength, and durability, making them ideal for use as power screws or lead screws in lathes, machine tools, and other industrial assemblies. Each trapezoidal threaded bar holds a pitch per turn between 2mm and 12mm, with outer diameters from 10mm to 100mm (TR10x2 to TR100x12).

Available as standard in C15 Carbon Steel, C45 Carbon Steel, A2 Stainless Steel (1.4301), and A4 Stainless Steel (1.4401), these rods are precision-engineered to suit most mechanical applications.

We also offer bespoke sizes, materials, and finishes, including custom manufacture to drawing and small volume production (minimum order quantities apply).

Note: TR10x2 indicates an outer diameter of 10mm with a 2mm pitch.
