Our Trapezium Threaded Rods, in accordance with DIN 103 or ISO 2901/2903, are otherwise known as Trapezoidal Threaded Rods or Trapezoidal Lead Screws. They host a trapezoidal thread form which takes the shape of an isosceles trapezium.
This thread form features a 30° thread angle, differing to ACME Threaded Rods with a 29° thread angle – also available at Fastenright.
Providing high accuracy and high strength to support large loads, they are often used within a variety of industrial machinery – typically as a power screw or lead screw of a lathe or machine tool.
All of our Trapezium Threaded Rods hold a pitch per turn of between 2mm and 12mm with outer diameters ranging from 10mm to 100mm (TR10x2 to TR100x12).
Available now at Fastenright in C15 Carbon Steel, C45 Carbon Steel, A2 Stainless Steel (1.4301) and A4 Stainless Steel (1.4401) as standard.
We supply a range of Threaded Rod in a huge selection of sizes and materials to suit most applications and assemblies.
Bespoke sizes, materials and finishes are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and custom parts made to drawings – minimum order quantities apply.
Note: TR10x2 indicates an outer diameter of 10mm with a pitch of 2mm. Parts with * are available to order.
