Fine Pitch Threaded Rods Grade 12.9 (DIN 976)

Fine Pitch Grade 12.9 Threaded Rods, in accordance with DIN 976 standard, are a versatile type of fastener which are fully threaded from end to end.

Sometimes referred to as Fine Pitch Threaded Bar, these components host a fine or extra fine pitch thread with a smaller thread incline angle. Once installed, they offer greater vibration resistance and are less prone to loosening over time.

They host a larger stress area and minor diameter compared to coarse pitch threaded rod that provides increased tensile and shear strength.

Fine Pitch Threaded Rods to DIN 975 can be tapped easier into hard materials and thin wall tubes. However, they are less suitable for high speed assembly and typically require longer thread engagements.

These components are often used in the engineering and automotive sectors, as well as for applications that require smaller and more precise adjustments.
