Brass Wing Screws German Form (DIN 316 D)

Brass Wing Screws German Form, in accordance with DIN 316 D, host a conical shaped body with two flat projections or wings either side.

Unlike Brass American Form Wing Screws, these components feature rounded wings which provide a more ergonomic grip for easier tightening by hand.

They can be partnered with mating Brass German Form Wing Nuts to create a symmetrical fastening that can be adjusted from both ends.

Brass components are non-magnetic and host high thermal conductivity. They feature anti-rust and corrosion resistant properties, making them suitable for use in both indoor and outdoor environments.

Wing screws are often found in mechanical and engineering applications where direct adjustments are required, as well as decorative applications due to their gold-like appearance.

Available at Fastenright in thread sizes M5 to M12, with lengths up to 60mm. Optional thread locking patches are available on request for improved retention and vibration resistance.

DIN 316 Type D Brass German Form Wing Screws can be supplied in other materials such as 304 / A2 Stainless Steel, 316 / A4 Stainless Steel, Nylon, Aluminium and Titanium.
