  • Three Head Styles: Slotted, Plain, Open

Grommet Barrel nuts are internally threaded female barrel nuts with three styles of head options available, ‘slotted’, ‘unslotted’ and ‘open’.

They are suitable for use in applications such as kick plates, push plates, panic bars, door exit devices, door closers and other surface mounted door hardware.

Predominantly used for hinge installations with the slotted grommet nuts suitable for ease of installation. The unslotted grommet nut is often used for security installations.

Barrel nuts can often be referred to as sleeve nuts.

Grommet sleeve nuts are often used on full surface, half surface and half Mortise hinges, prison hinges and heavy duty installation hinges.

Available from Fastenright in A2 Stainless Steel, Brass plated Steel and Zinc plated Steel as standard.

Non-standard sizes and materials are available to order as specials, including custom parts made to drawings.
