Hex Drive Wood to Metal Dowels

Hex Drive Wood-to-Metal Dowels provide a machine thread and wood thread on opposite sides of the fastener – primarily designed to suspend objects from timber.

Otherwise known as as Hanger Bolts, these components are widely used for furniture assembly and hanging material from ceilings e.g. pipes and cable trays.

Once installed into the target material, the suspended object is fastened onto the machine thread and secured in place with a nut.

Hex Drive Wood-to-Metal Dowels feature an unthreaded shank in between both threads, while the external hex drive enables quick and easy installation using a standard spanner or wrench.

Available now at Fastenright in thread sizes from M10 to M12 as standard. The length of each thread type can vary, therefore please contact us for further details.

Manufactured from A2 / 303 Stainless Steel as standard.
