Hex Flange O-Ring Seal Bolts

Hex Flange O-Ring Seal Bolts are an all-in-one sealing solution, widely used in high pressure applications or those where contamination is a concern e.g. in the food industry, medical products, and those with stringent sealing requirements.

They are supplied with an “O” ring washer, made of Silicone rubber, that sits within a groove just below the flange of the bolt. Once installed, this creates a perfect seal while preserving metal on metal contact for a tight and secure fit.

These components are easy to install – operating just like a conventional flanged fastener. The strong seal ensures 360° protection against contaminants from entering an application, while preventing substances such as air or water from escaping.

The O-ring is available in an extensive range of materials to best suit the intended application or assembly. This includes the likes of Nitrile rubber (Buna-N), EPDM, Fluorosilicone, Viton, and many more.

Hex Flange O-Ring Seal Bolts and Slotted Hex Flange O-Ring Seal Bolts, typically to DIN 6921 / DIN 1665 standard, are available as a partially threaded bolt or a fully threaded set screw. The flange for both products can also be supplied with or without serrations under the head.

Optional thread locking patches can be provided to reduce the effects of vibration and increase the operational life of the O-ring.
