Insert Nuts For Wood Type A

SKU: FF11 Categories: , ,

Insert Nuts Type A, or Knock In Insert Type A, provide a strong permanent thread for wood and wood based materials.

Originally developed for retention of speaker baffles, the coarse external tooth (barbed) push-in style of the Type A pattern ensures maximum holding power and easy installation by knocking the insert into the base material, providing good holding power in particle board and edge-grain.

Use with joint connector bolts for furniture assembly.

Available from Fastenright in Zinc Alloy from M3 to M10 in various lengths and finishes (usually Zinc or Zinc & Yellow). Other materials, diameters and lengths are available to order.

We also offer Insert Nuts for Wood Type A in UNC and UNF on a short lead time, with BSW and BSF also available to order.
