Insert Nuts For Wood Type E

SKU: FF10 Categories: , ,

Insert Nuts for Wood Type E, or Screw In Inserts Type E, are an incredibly popular insert nut for assemblies in ‘knock down’ furniture.

They host a self-tapping thread that enables it to thread into wood with the help of an Allen key. Once it is locked into place, it offers strong resistance to tension or vibration pull out.

The unique external thread design and self-tapping body allow for quick and reliable installation in wood and wood-based materials. A lack of flange in this Type E insert nut enables strong joining of curved and flat surfaces.

They are ideally used with Type E1 Joint Connector Bolts.

Available as standard from M4 to M8, with various lengths, diameters, materials and finishes available to order. They are also available in UNC, UNF, BSW and BSF to order.
