Type P Insert Nuts for Wood (Serrated Screw In Insert Type P) have a self-tapping outside thread with serrations, which enables them to achieve high resistance to pull out.
This is possible with only minimal insertion torque. The internal threads of this insert nut ensure that ‘joint connector bolts‘ can be secured for furniture assembly.
Insert Nuts for Wood Type P are available from Fastenright in Zinc Alloy, but they are also available in a range of materials and finishes upon request.
They are available as standard in thread diameters of M4 to M8 in various lengths, while other lengths are available to order.
