The Philidas® MKV Nut is a low cost production, all metal self locking nut which is most suited to high volume applications.
It has a relatively high prevailing torque, which is obtained by two-point deforming for consistent characteristics across load-bearing threads. These nuts can be re-used.
These locknuts are manufactured in Steel Grade 8, 10, and 12 from M4 to M36. Sizes up to M16 can be cold-formed or bar turned dependent on the quantity and sizes.
The Philidas® MKV Nut is available in a wide range of thread styles, sizes and a small range of imperial sizes – with other sizes available to order.
