Plastic Slotted Cheese Head Screws are made to DIN 84 standard or ISO 1207 and host a single slot across the head, typically fastened using a standard flat blade screwdriver.
Their purpose is to hold two separate components together, requiring a pre-drilled or tapped hole for installation. They can be used in conjunction with an appropriately sized nut or washer such as Plastic Flat Washers to DIN 433.
These Plastic Slotted Screws with Cheese Head are found in a variety of manufacturing and electronic applications e.g. automotive parts and general household appliances – great for use in a range of materials including rubber, wood and metal.
Note: The dimensions of these screws are considered DIN equivalents so should only be used as guidance. They are close to the standard of their metal counterparts but may not follow the same strict tolerances.
Plastic Slotted Cheese Machine Screws to DIN 84 are manufactured from Nylon 66 (PA 66) as standard. This type of Nylon is well known for its chemical, corrosion and vibration resistance.
Available sizes range from M2 to M12 as standard, with BA thread screws also available. They are supplied in a White (natural) finish as standard, but can be dyed in a number of colours to suit your chosen application or assembly.
Non-standard sizes, materials and colours are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and custom parts made to drawings.
