Pozi Countersunk Captive Screws feature Pozi drives, meaning they can only be installed or partially removed with Pozi drive bits and screwdrivers.
These fasteners are commonly used for safety reasons and are required by EU law in certain pieces of safety equipment.
They are designed to be unable to uninstall once placed within their housing which is a key reason as to why they are often found in machinery and industrial lines where the loss or loosening of a screw could cause damage to the line if falling into a machine, or to productivity levels, should an issue be caused.
Available in both A2 and A4 stainless steel as standard, with a number of finishes also available. Thread locking patches are also available.
