Red Fibre Washers (DIN 125 Form A)

SKU: WSR14 Categories: ,

Red Fibre Washers, manufactured to DIN 125 Form A standard, are primarily used as part of plumbing and water applications – preventing leakages when installed in components such as pipes, couplings and glands.

Often referred to as Vulcanised Fibre Washers, they are designed to absorb fluids – expanding slightly when coming into contact with water. This fills the space to ensure a secure fit and a watertight seal.

Suitable for general spacing purposes to distribute the force of a bolt, screw or nut when tightened. Red Fibre Washers have a high coefficient of friction which prevents loosening of components over time while helping to reduce the effects of vibration.

They are non-conductive to provide good electrical insulation for use in automotive and electronic applications.

These Red Fibre Washers to DIN 125A are available at Fastenright in sizes from 2.7mm (M2.5) to 21mm (M20) as standard.

Non-standard sizes, materials and finishes are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and bespoke parts made to drawings. Minimum order quantities apply.
