Security 5 Lobe Pin TX Countersunk Head Captive Screws

Security 5 Lobe Pin TX Countersunk Head Captive Screws are a more secure variant of the more common 6 Lobe TX Security Captive Screws – featuring a 5 lobe drive that is similar in shape to a flower petal.

Captive screws feature an unthreaded portion below the head – often referred to as the reduced shank. When used alongside Threaded Captive Washers, they cannot be fully removed from their housing which prevents any loss of fasteners.

The security pin in the drive recess means that these components can only be removed using matching 5 lobe insert bits. The sale of these bits is restricted for security purposes.
