Security Clutch Head One Way Round Captive Screws

Security Clutch Head One Way Round Captive Screws feature a unique shaped head that only requires a standard slotted screwdriver for installation.

These components host a special chamfer at either side of the slotted drive which prevents the screw from being turned in both directions. If it is turned the wrong way, the driver will slip out to avoid damage.

Security Clutch Head One Way Round Captive Screws are designed with an unthreaded portion below the head – often referred to as the reduced shank. If installed alongside Threaded Captive Washers, they are designed to self-retain and cannot be removed from their housing.

The design of the vandal-resistant screw is suitable for medium torque applications and offers high security resistance. Special removal tools are available but are only recommended for use with Stainless Steel clutch head screws.

Manufactured from Stainless Steel as standard, with other materials available to order.

Available at Fastenright in thread diameters M3 to M8, with lengths from 12mm to 70mm. Optional thread locking patches can also be supplied.
