6 Lobe Pin TX Pan Thread Rolling Screws (DIN 7985 with Pin)

6 Lobe Pin TX Pan Thread Rolling Screws, typically to DIN 7985 (Form C) / ISO 14583 (Form PE), are designed to form an internal thread into sheet metals. They are suitable for use with various metals and hole types, as well as other malleable materials.

These thread rolling screws host a three lobe or ‘trilobular’ thread design that forms its own thread during installation. This process pushes excess material into relief areas of the screw for improved retention.

The rolled thread is typically stronger than a non-treated cut thread. It also helps to prevent loose chips caused by other thread cutting processes.

The 6-point star-shaped drive with centre pin offers greater protection against vandals and thieves compared to other non-security drive types – fastened using a special screwdriver, wrench, or insert bit.

6 Lobe Pin TX Pan Thread Rolling screws are manufactured from Steel Zinc Plated and A2 Stainless Steel as standard, with Steel Black Plated available on request.
