Knock-In Insert Nut for Soft Materials (IN15)

SKU: IN15 Categories: ,

Knock-In Insert Nuts for Soft Materials (IN15) are manufactured from Steel, with through internal holes, electroplated with Zinc to offer protection against corrosion. They have skives on the shaft which provide secure retention, which is especially useful in soft materials and ensures that components do not pull apart during the assembly process.

These Steel knock-in inserts are available with a diameter of 10mm, including the skives, and with an 8.3mm shaft diameter. They have a head size of 15mm and internal standardised thread size of M6.

They can be purchased in lengths of 9mm and 14mm. An insert with an overall diameter of 12mm, a 10.7mm shaft diameter and 19mm head diameter is also available. These come with an M8 internal standardised thread size and have a length of 16mm.

See the availability chart below for full specifications regarding the IN15 Knock-In Insert Nut for Soft Materials. Alternative sizes are available to order.

All non-standard sizes, materials and finishes are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and custom parts made to drawings.
