Flat Head Knock-In Insert Nut (IN16)

Flat Head Knock-In Inserts, or Insert Nuts (IN16) feature a decorative flat head, making them ideal for applications where the head of the insert will be visible.

Installation is fast and easy as they just need to be tapped into the pre-drilled pilot hole using a hammer. The knurled shank of these Steel inserts provides excellent resistance to prevent torsion and pulling-out.

The threaded blind hole has a standardised internal thread size of M6 housed within a shank with a diameter of 9.3mm. The head of this IN16 Flat Head Knock-In Insert Nut measures 13mm across and can be purchased in lengths of 8mm with a blind hole length of 5mm.

These Steel inserts are bathed in Zinc to decrease the risk of corrosion and to keep them looking good for a long period of time.
