Insert Nut for Hard Plastic and Metal (IN21)

SKU: IN21 Categories: ,

Insert Nuts for Hard Plastic and Metal (IN21) are hard-wearing inserts with fine external thread, specially designed for use with harder materials.

The tapered bottom and wide cutting slots allow for easy insertion into a range of metals and plastics, whilst the head configuration provides a larger bearing surface to limit insertion depth and prevent jack-out. This also provides a neater and tidier finish.

Once installed, the insert creates a considerably stronger connection than screwing directly into the material, with excellent resistance to torsion and vibration pull-out – making it perfect for a diverse range of home, office and industrial purposes.

Supplied in RoHS compliant Zinc Plated Steel as well as Stainless Steel for corrosion protection and a range of thread sizes to meet your fastening needs, including M4, M5, M6, M8, M10.

See the availability chart below for full specifications. Other sizes are available to order.

Non-standard sizes, materials and finishes are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and custom parts made to drawings.
