Half Moon Nuts

SKU: FF49 Categories: ,

Half Moon Nuts, otherwise known as Lunar Nuts or Crescent Nuts, offer a simple and effective assembly method for joining two panels or components.

Lunar Nuts are typically found in a range of furniture such as beds, tables and cabinets – while being widely adopted in the timber industry for various wooden assemblies.

As the name suggests, they feature a half moon or semi-circle design and are often positioned within a blind bore – concealed inside the furniture to provide an aesthetically pleasing connection.

These components are recommended for use alongside Furniture Connector Bolts – also available at Fastenright – but can be partnered with any matching threaded fastener.

M6 Half Moon Nuts are suitable for light duty applications e.g. small tables and chairs. M8 Moon Nuts are ideal for more heavy duty applications, while M10 Half Moon Nuts are intended for heavy duty applications such as beds and other large assemblies.

Manufactured from Steel Zinc Plated as standard. Available now at Fastenright in thread sizes M6 to M10 as standard.

Non-standard sizes, materials and finishes are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and bespoke parts made to drawings. Minimum order quantities apply.
