Brass Hexagon Half Nuts Fine Pitch (DIN 439)

Brass Hexagon Half Nuts with Fine Pitch Threads are the reduced height variant of the popular Hexagon Full Nuts, manufactured to DIN 439 standard or ISO 4035.

Commonly referred to as Hex Thin Nuts, Flat Nuts or Jam Nuts, their height is approximately half that of a regular full nut – ideal for situations with restricted space or clearance. Sometimes positioned either side of a nut to create a locking formation that increases durability and resistance to vibrations.

The fine pitch thread consists of a smaller helix angle to provide higher strength and allow for greater adjustment accuracy compared to Coarse Thread Brass Hexagon Half Nuts – they are often utilised in aerospace applications as a result.

These Brass Fine Pitch Brass Hexagon Half Nuts to DIN 439 are resistant to rust and water whilst offering good corrosion protection and a decorative gold-like finish.

This component is also highly durable, non-magnetic and hosts anti-bacterial properties, making them great for use in medical environments or sensitive electronic equipment.

Available in thread sizes from M8 to M30 as standard, with both chamfered and unchamfered versions available – minimum order quantities apply.
