Brass Slotted Set Screws Cone Point (DIN 553)

Brass Slotted Set Screws Cone Point, typically to DIN 553 / ISO 7434, are designed to be fastened into softer materials.

Otherwise known as Brass Slot Cone Point Grub Screws, these parts host a sharp cone tip which generates the highest torsional and axial holding power of all set screw types.

During installation with a standard slotted screwdriver, additional pressure is placed on the tip of the screw which enables penetration of the target surface.

As a result, Cone Point Set Screws are typically utilised for applications which require a permanent fixing. They can also be used as pivots.

Available at Fastenright in thread sizes M3 to M6, with lengths up to 25mm. Optional thread locking patches can also be supplied for improved retention and vibration resistance.

DIN 553 Brass Slotted Set Screws with Cone Point can be supplied in various materials on request. This includes materials such as Stainless Steel, Aluminium and Titanium.
