Brass Tall Hexagon Nuts (DIN 6330 Type B)

Brass Tall Hexagon Nuts are manufactured to DIN 6330 Type B standard and offer increased height compared to standard metric hex nuts – with the height being 1.5 x thread diameter to provide additional thread engagement and a more secure fixing.

The top of this component is designed with a rounded or spherical seating surface, which when partnered with Spherical Washers / Conical Seat Washers to DIN 6319, helps to reduce positional inaccuracies and compensate for uneven surfaces.

Often found within clamping applications that require frequent assembly and disassembly, they are used in conjunction with matching screws, bolts, or any machine threaded fastener.

The flat end matches Heavy Duty DIN 6340 washers that are specifically designed to withstand forces applied through the clamping process.

Brass Tall Hexagon Nuts to DIN 6330 Type B offer a decorative gold-like finish whilst providing non-magnetic, water resistant and corrosion resistant properties – suitable for external use or as part of electrical assemblies.
